Tragedy strikes when Samar is hit by a bus. Meera prays to God, promising that if Samar survives, she will never see him again and will marry the man her father chooses (Suheil, played by Rishi Kapoor). Samar survives. True to her word, Meera breaks his heart by saying she never loved him.
